Our watch we keep before your throne;
Our fervent love to you we own,
No tie of earth can separate
Our souls from watching at your gate.
Temptation’s pow’r shall naught avail
to draw us from you, Holy Grail.

In you we find our souls content;
Your grace ensures Sin's banishment,
Each day you come into our hearts,
Each day your presence strength imparts.
Temptation’s pow’r shall naught avail
to draw us from you, Holy Grail.

Our watch on earth a pledge shall be
Of heavèn in eternity,
O Lamb of God, till life is done,
till all our destined years have run.
Temptation’s pow’r shall naught avail
to draw us from you, Holy Grail.
