Jesus, for all poor souls, we plead
Thou who canst help their direst need,
Grant them the happiness of rest,
Peace that is promised to the blest;
Grant them the clearness of thy light,
Shine through the gloom; give day for night

Grant them remission of all Sin,
Cleanse them, O Christ, without, within
Thou who hast suffered for thine own,
Who paid the price, who did atone,
Our loving supplications near
grant them pardon, Savior dear,

O blessèd Mary, intercede;
O all ye saints, now with us, plead
For all poor souls who need thy aid,
Until the debt of sin is paid;
Pray that God's grace may give release
And light eternal, rest and peace.
