O Church of God triumphant
Above the world's dark fears,
wherein our souls find refuge
Through all these earthly year
Christ’s steadfast holy purpo5e
Illumined by the Cross,
Guards her from evil's power,
Revealing it but dross

On Christmas Eve her carols
Have set our hearts aglow,
Her bells on Easter morning
With faith still overflow;
Before her hallowed altars
We pledge our love in youth
While in her sacred portals
Our minds have found God's truth

Her task on earth unfinished
Till threats of war shall cease.
Her voice must raise a protest
Where greed still robs men's peace
One brotherhood Christ called for
Of ev’ry class and race,
The church must Live the vision
That shone in Jesus face.

O Church of God, triumphant,
We offer now in pray’r
Our youth, our fuller manhood,
For Christ's great cause to dare,
That his redeeming purpose
May prove beyond defeat,
Till in the life immortal
With joy his children meet
